Twitter-pated
A new Web 2.0 site, Twitter, combines instant messaging with social networking to produce something a bit different from the ordinary. Users on the site can update their status as often as they like, making it known to the world or to their friends. The “twitters” are displayed on a constantly updating social timeline.

Service Problems
Dan Mitchell at The New York Times reported today that certain Comcast cable Internet customers have had their service cut off after being told they exceeded the company’s bandwidth limits. The problem, Mitchell reports, is that Comcast will not tell its customers what those limits are.

Master of My Domain
Yes, I passed my thesis defense. I’m extremely happy about it too. There’s nothing quite like your committee chair walking into your office, shaking your hand, and telling you congratulations, you’re a master of English.
