Quickorder app to keep iPod touch owners hooked on Starbucks

Quickorder, a potential Web app for the iPod Touch and iPhones, would allow Starbucks customers to order online and avoid all that awful human interaction. This is only a mockup and the app isn't live yet, but I think this is another look at the consumer world to come. Technologies like this one, and like the proposed Microsoft table top computer interface, will make our restaurant and store experiences much more interactive. It's just more evidence to my theory that Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report" vision of the near-future is spot on.
