Choose wisely

In Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the Templar night says to Indy, “Choose wisely. For while the true grail brings life, false ones will take it away from you” (or words to that effect).

Why quote Last Crusade? Well, because I’m at a deci­sion point. I’ve recently installed IntenseDebate to han­dle the com­ments on this site, hav­ing switched over from Disqus. But was that the right choice to make?

IntenseDebate is now owned by the com­pany that owns WordPress. That’s a plus for that ser­vice. I think it means tighter inte­gra­tion with WP in the future — and the inte­gra­tion is already pretty good as it is, bet­ter than Disqus anyway.

But more peo­ple seem to use Disqus. It also con­nects with Facebook and, soon, Friendfeed (as I under­stand it).

So I asked this ques­tion on Twitter and I’ll ask it again here. Which one? Can any­one advise?
