Here's something I didn't know about until tonight. I found the link at Will Sullivan's Journerdism. The National Post, headquartered in Toronto, will soon become the first North American paper to print barcodes next to its print stories. Readers with appropriately equipped mobile devices can then scan or photograph those codes to receive updated information about the story on their mobile device.
Wave of the future? Maybe.
