Below is a link to an example of what I consider a well told story.
Why did I like it?
The “making a difference” feel good stories at the end of the broadcast are a welcome change from economic doom and gloom.
It inspired me seeing those kids learn the classic ballroom dances.
It presented a taste of civility in an inner city chicago school.
Loved seeing the diversity of students dancing with each other
And of course: they were all so darn cute in their formal attire!

I would also add that it’s a good example of how you can pan and zoom in camera when appropriate. Generally better not to, but they use panning to enhance the shot. Also a good blend of wide, mid and close shots.
To add to Kelly...I appreciated the various shot angels (straight on, from above etc.)
