Kelly sends this link to a fantastic rendition of "Stand By Me," recorded with musicians and singers around the world -- at different times. It looks like this video -- in addition to being entertaining as all get out -- is also a serious exercise in editing, maybe one that we can take some inspiration from.

    Wow, that was awe­some. It almost made me cry.
    As I am try­ing to fig­ure out how to work with sound and visu­als and make them match up, I am amazed with how they did it in this video. I know it isn’t too hard in some of the higher end soft­ware (Final Cut Pro etc.), but it might be a bit more chal­leng­ing in imovie. Maybe once I fig­ure it out, it will be eas­ier. None the less, great edit­ing and a riv­et­ing video.
