Michael Kinsley wants news writing to get to the point. Lots of people think he's being too simplistic. I think we should use some kind of "to be continued" construction.

Maybe paying for news online is a good thing

The Columbia Journalism Review tells me that the Wall Street Journal has sur­passed USA Today in cir­cu­la­tion num­bers, mak­ing it the most widely cir­cu­lated news­pa­per in the country. Improvements to Harper’s Index Web site: Many

So in antic­i­pa­tion of the 25th anniver­sary of Harper’s Index, the mag­a­zine has spiffed up the Index’s Web site. The entire run of the Index is now search­able, and you can get perma­links to each fac­toid and even post them directly to Twitter. There’s also an option for e-mailing a page to your friends.
